Star Trails - or Star Wheel
I took this picture a few years ago but I thought it was a little to bright (over exposed). So now that I have gotten a little better with my processing AP Pixinsight, I thought I would try to see what I could do with it. I was able to darken it a little and by doing so it brought out the colors of the stars. I think it looks pretty good now.

the veil nebula This was my hardest photo yet. This nebula is so dim that when I was on target, I could not even see it on the computer screen. This is a photo of 32 pictures at 8 minutes exposures each for a total of four hours of exposure. the trifid nebula the owl nebula the wirlpool galaxy   The ring nebula - The tiny white dot in the center is what is left from the red giant star that exploded. It is the stars core. It is still bright enough to make the material and gases that is left glow.

 I took a total of 60 photos for a total of 6 hours total exposure time. You can compare this one to the other photo I have on this blog. This one was processed using another processing software I got called Pixinsight. It is much better.
